Recent Compliance Inspection
Posted on Jan 13th, 2023
Recently, several residents received a letter regarding required fence and utility screening of shrubs. Please accept our sincere apology for sending these letters as a compliance letter, which is a template-based letter. These letters were intended to be a Courtesy request for residence assistance, and not intended to be formal violations. At this time, you can disregard that notice.
Over the past several years, a multitude of situations in relation to fence and utility screening have occurred (i.e., some never installed by builders, lack of irrigation installed, and others removed by residents, etc.). This had not been a focus for the previous management team. Unfortunately, in some areas of the community it is becoming a widespread issue that does not just affect the visual appearance of the community, but the consistency and fair practices of this association regarding compliance.
Given the number of residents impacted by the recent letter, the Board and the HOA management team will work together over the next few months to determine whether fence and/or utility screening shrubs will be required and if so, at which properties. Please know the association’s intent is only to uphold the governing documents in a fair and reasonable manner.
Right now, the HOA will continue to focus on addressing parkway trees which have died, been removed, or need replacement. We have partnered again with JD's Makin it Green to offer our residents discounted plants and include installation. For those homes which require the installation of trees, the goal would be for work to be completed by April. If you have a unique situation, please let us know. We are here to work with you.
Again, our apologies for any concerns or negativity which may have been caused by the letters issued by the HOA.
